i feel that superlife kids are beginning to be more involved in worship service now, praise God! :D
been feeling little lost and like confused these few days,
really guilty cos i havent been doing celebrate Jesus for the past week, and the challenge ended yesterday,
but hope i can keep up and update more often with the journal they gave yea..
sch's tiring, and mid years are coming, so lets all work hard and not give up! even though we may feel emotionally drained and tired out and dont feel like doing anything anymore,

Importance of salvations

well being promoted to sec 3 is not easy.
but thank GOD that HE helped mi pull thru it with the support of frens and teachers=D

2day,im gonna post about salvations.

have any1 of u heard about the word 'salvation'?
ever came across it?
u r a christin but had never truly understand YOUR salvation?

4 mi,salvation is just indescribable.

it leads the heaven 2 rejoicing.
it gives a sense of joy.
it eliminates all the past memories and turn it to become good.

thats my definition.

I was doing my homework(slackingly),and was talking to my grandma @ d same time,when something hit mi.

Her eyes were red.sore eyes maybe.Out of the blue I started to worry.

thinking back,she had being the 1 takin care of mi since young.
I came from a single-parent family background.
im always rejected by classmates and only had a few frens,but hardly no clique @ all.
But my grandma had being the 1 supporting mi in almost everything.
although i started to rebel as years past and eventually changed,i never forget how she took such great care for mi.
its definitely hard for her.
Come to think of it,i even used to scold her right in the face of people.
just bcoz i dun lyk what she do.
the way she treat mi knowing that i had already grown.

but today i regretted.
today i regretted scolding her even 1 bit.
i regretted not lyking the way she treats mi.
i regretted sinning so much.
i regretted not showing the 'CHRIST' in mi.

that means i regretted not telling her about JESUS.
not bringing her to church.
not showing my identity as a christian.

(not cursing her)By truth,she might go to a place of eternal suffering or flames after death.

I rebuke this thought!!

I dun lyk this truth.but this IS the truth.

looking @ her sore eyes,I thought that im gonna lose her.
i thought that she is gonna go.

Consciously i told myself:"theres still a many more years ahead!!=)"

even though she dunno how to read english,

im really sorry we were not able to meet up for the past few months, and i know (uncle) Ryan's trying really hard to organise and check with everyone to meet up..but yea. i dont think it's possible by this week, as much as we want to ): but i think that these meetings, although fun and all, shouldnt be the core things that bond us together..i mean, we see each other every week, we dont have to wait till the meet ups to talk or share stuffs with each other(: yupps. haha im just..yea. i really miss hanging out with you guys a lot, haha.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Yesterday,I manage to have internet bcoz of big ben(mi bro).I was happy.
But when I come to think back,what does friendship really means?
-Receiving and not giving back?
-Giving and not having anything in return?
-Simply taking it for granted and live as days pass?
Well,I found myself likely to be in the third position.
Taking things for granted.
Leaving love and care apart frm mi.
Even as im posting this blog,I started to question myself:
"Am I really a friend to others?Am I being like one?"
I fret not.
Last sunday,after church and everything,Im suppose to head to the mrt station
with the rest of my friends.
And there.
One of them,called Jesse,decided to walk instead of taking the bus with the rest
of us.
At that point of time,the bus arrived.
Everything seems to happen so fast.
I found myself stuck in a position:
to choose to go with everyone else,or with Jesse.
Well,come to think of it,I've always chose to go with the bigger company.
Reasons:
-I won't feel so lonely
-I won't be asked:'why are you so quiet?'
-Being with a bigger group means more time together,less time being alone.

I AM JUST SELFISH.

Indeed,I am.
Back to that day.
I actually stepped out to go with Jesse.But when I turn back and saw the rest moving up the bus,I rushed back to them.
I've been thru the real meaning of loneliness,and therefore I regretted.
Im sorry Jesse.
On the bus,Im really thinking about it.
Should I have walk with Jesse instead?
Honestly,I give excuses for not replying to my friends message and stuff.

To everybody out there:
Friends are hard to find,true friends are even harder.
Never ever take friends for granted.
Sorry to those out there whom I have hurt or ignored.

i dunno why i've been getting this feeling after sending the malaysia mission trip people off,
some insecurities maybe hahas,
so yup,
two teams went to malaysia for their mission trip today,
and ryan's in one of them, to pahang,
lets all pray for everyone and our bro ryan in the teams today that all will be alright and that God's gonna be control in everything yea?
and for their journey mercy,
that the programs will go smoothly
and the people there will enjoy what they've plan for them :D
and gain great experiences!

thoughts; YOU camp

Hey guys!
hope you guys have really been impacted by this Megalife camp!
haha, actually during the first few days of camp i thought it was rather boring and bleak, compared to the other four megalife camps i've been to. focus or attention were not really placed on games,
but on ~~the service~~ God. i also felt the games were a bit cliched, and yeah. but i enjoyed getting wet! hehe:D

where was i? ohyeah. Service. Service was absolutely awesome, with altar calls at every one. there was one particular altar call that really impacted me, that was during the morning service on the second day. it was something about quiet time i think, could'nt really remember, but i knew i was in front, and no one was praying for me. and i really felt that God was just passing me by. soon Pastor Joyce came to me, and she answered me straight : "God is not passing you by." then she proceeded to pray for me. i was really shocked that somehow she knew what i was telling God. then i realised that God was speaking to me through her. that was really amazing, to me at least. that particular altar call really boosted my faith to a higher level.

i was really struggling with faith and quiet time for the past few months, even to the extent of having doubts like whether or not God really exists. But this time my faith is really boosted to a new level and i know truly God is real, and there is no barrier between Him and me. i know all these might sound weird coming from me, since im a second generation christian, but i mean, being a second generation christian doesnt mean knowing everything about God. doubts sometimes do take me back to square one. but not anymore. yupps(:

Story behind the song 'Lifetone'

Why I'm posting on how/why I wrote this song is so that if we sing it we can understand what the song means and we can sing the song with the same emotion the writer had while writing the song.

Today as I was thinking. When I wrote this song what the song meant here and there. And God reminded me...

Well, I wanted to write a song called Lifetone and with that in mind God gave me this idea of amplifiers, knobs and guitar stuff. And so I started.

As I was writing this song, I pictured a suitcase(the one I always carry around to keep my effect pedals). And in the suitcase were the pedals which represents us! The first scene/idea God put into my head was a hand putting the pedal into the suitcase, and the pedal affects the sound of the guitar. Pedals are not meant to be put in the suitcase for nothing! This is when the verse: "Brought into this world for a reason, Not for each day to pass by, Not to be put in a suitcase to rust, We’re here, to make a difference."

God is like the person using the pedals and He has the authority to set it to how He wants it to sound like! Thats when the first part of the chorus: "Use our lives, Tune it how You want it to be." comes.

"Make a tone out of us, That is pleasing to your eyes" a tone that is pleasing to His eyes?!
It seems like typo but there is a reason behind why I wrote the second part of the chorus this way. In the first part of the chorus when I said "use our lives, tune it how You want it to be", I didn't mean tune our voice so that it may sounds different. I meant make us how He(God) wants us to be, letting us go through different events/ups and downs in life (Tuning process). Like a pedal being set/tuned.

After all that setting/tuning, it gives a tone/sound and thats when the "Make a tone out of us" part comes in. Asking God to make something He wants out of us after all the ups and downs.

To sumarize it all, I'm asking God to shape us and use us, so we can live in a way pleasing to His eyes.

Yep thats how the songs came about =)
